The Negative Effects Of Mobile Phone Signals

Friday, April 29, 2011

We are so used to mobile phones that we seldom realize that it is consistently emitting radiation because of its signal. And because humans are virtually oblivious to these unseen rays, we hold it regularly, put it in our pockets and even let our children play with them unaware of its long term dangers.

One good practice to do is to put your mobile phone in flight mode whenever you can when it is not really needed so you can cut off the flow of the signal. But if you cannot miss a txt message or a call, then you can either place your phone away from your body as much as possible and to answer a call only on a full charge battery. If your battery is low, then your mobile phone will compensate by sucking in higher rates of the signal to make the call clear.

While mobile phones do have these concerns, it’s part of our daily and professional life. You don’t need to sacrifice your health when using your phone; all you need is knowledge on how to avoid the radiation as much as possible. In taking care of your mobile phone, there is comprehensive phone insurance to turn to. For as little as £2.49 a month, your mobile phone will be protected from theft, loss, accidental water damages and also comes with an International cover as well so you can have total peace of mind knowing your phone is properly protected with mobile phone insurance.

A Brand New Nokia Mobile Phone Passes FCC Approval

Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturer has just released the Nokia E6 and has now been able to obtain passage from the FCC’s hot gates and is now being much anticipated as the new NE6 can be used both in AT&T and T-Mobile’s 3G networks. As expected, the new phone will run on Symbian Operating System and yet the design is very similar to that of RIM’s traditional Blackberry smart phones.

While no comment came from RIM about this move by Nokia, the striking similarity just cannot be taken for granted, especially the overly large QWERTY keypad that indeed appears to be a BB model if viewed at a distance. Only when we take a closer look at it can we distinguish that it’s a Nokia phone. Other feature that is significantly different from RIM’s smart phone is its possible touch screen capability. Some leaked specifications describe a 4-inch capacitive touch screen with VGA (640×480 pixels) resolution, and that is to be seen upon official release.

In the UK, Blackberry users are mostly business people and some are converting to the iPhone; but some are just too keen in using other mobile designs from Nokia, so the NE6 will be expected to have fans of its own. Mobile phone insurance in the UK protects these devices from theft, loss and accidental damages. For as little as £2.49 a month, one can already obtain comprehensive mobile phone insurance and insure their new phone once they buy it when it hits the stores.
