Is There Still Hope For The Nexus One?

Monday, December 19, 2011

The Nexus One or the HTC Passion, as what others call it, is Google’s answer to Apple’s iPhone and it has been a phenomenal climb in the Smartphone wars for this model. This particular brand was one of the key mobile phones they were thinking of releasing to be one of the “iPhone Killers”. But in reality, while this phone is good, it is not that good compared to the iPhone 4S.

Even with some amazing features, the public still seem to be more inclined to choose Apple than other brands, especially if budget is not an issue. The key reasons that there is still hope for this HTC made phone is that Google is still packing in some features in its online arsenal and the Nexus is certainly in mind. They are making Nexus users have an amazing browsing experience that may not just be compared to other mobile phones of its price range and caliber.

What is important when you own this mobile phone, is to get it properly insured with comprehensive mobile phone insurance. Our policy includes Google Nexus One and you can get instant protection against theft, accidental damages, water damages and even from accidental loss. The Problem With The Dell Streak

All smartphones and mobile phones have their disadvantages, no matter how high end the gadget maybe. In the case of the Apple iPhone, which is herald to be the king of all smart phones, the problem with the signal caught Apple executives with their pants down and forcing them to provide all sorts of freebies just to avoid customer retribution.

In the case if the sleek and elegant Dell Streak, nothing much can be said about it in terms of performance and look, as it is undoubtedly, one of the most sought after mobile phone in the market today. But with an elegant smartphone running on Android 1.6, that is just something that users cannot ignore. But because of the 2GB built in memory and powered with the Qualcomm SnapDragon 8250 1GHz processor, the odds still seem to be in favour for the Dell Streak.

The only problem for most users is that they cannot seem to change the phone’s font settings. This is a major drawback for those who want to make their fonts bigger and their mobile surfing experience without the eye strain. Despite some of the negatives, the Dell Streak is still a mobile phone to reckon with. In the UK, after just a few months of your purchase, it is best to insure your new Dell mobile phone with comprehensive mobile phone insurance.  For only £ 2.49 a month, you can already insure your new Dell phone against accidental damages, fraudulent calls, accidental loss and even theft with our in-depth mobile insurance. A Brand New Nokia Mobile Phone Passes FCC Approval

Monday, April 4, 2011

Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturer has just released the Nokia E6 and has now been able to obtain passage from the FCC’s hot gates and is now being much anticipated as the new NE6 can be used both in AT&T and T-Mobile’s 3G networks. As expected, the new phone will run on Symbian Operating System and yet the design is very similar to that of RIM’s traditional Blackberry smart phones.

While no comment came from RIM about this move by Nokia, the striking similarity just cannot be taken for granted, especially the overly large QWERTY keypad that indeed appears to be a BB model if viewed at a distance. Only when we take a closer look at it can we distinguish that it’s a Nokia phone. Other feature that is significantly different from RIM’s smart phone is its possible touch screen capability. Some leaked specifications describe a 4-inch capacitive touch screen with VGA (640×480 pixels) resolution, and that is to be seen upon official release.

In the UK, Blackberry users are mostly business people and some are converting to the iPhone; but some are just too keen in using other mobile designs from Nokia, so the NE6 will be expected to have fans of its own. Mobile phone insurance in the UK protects these devices from theft, loss and accidental damages. For as little as £2.49 a month, one can already obtain comprehensive mobile phone insurance and insure their new phone once they buy it when it hits the stores.

Phone insurance progress

The mobile phone insurance market is consolidating.  Because of an unfortunately high fraud rate (and yes, fraud is completely illegal and a jailable offense but some idiots still figure they will get away with it - it just takes a lot of administration to filter it) the market is being hit.  Particularly with iPhone insurance - most likely because the fraudsters see this as a high value phone that the insurance claim can pay out and get them a free one.

It is unfortunate because the knock-on effects are that mobile phone insuranc prices are likely to rise because of this.

All that said, outside of the iPhones, the mobile phone insurance policy itself continues to be very popular with genuine customers who simple want to insure their mobile phone and get it covered and protected.

We'll see what the future holds for policy changes.  The market may move towards more annual polices with discounts rather than monthly payments for the phone insurance
