Phone Insurance Extended Warranty

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

When you buy any item in the UK it is covered by the Consumer Goods Act part of which stipulates that manufacturers of any product are liable for any product faults within the firsts 12 month – this is the manufacturers warranty.  That means that if your phone just goes wrong for no external reasons then the manufacturer is responsible for fixing it.

One thing to be aware with this is the law in less than clear on how soon they must fix it.  They might take a month.   That is a long time to be without your mobile phone.

So a mobile phone insurance policy such as ours with 48 hour claim handling is a major advantage over this potential delay.

Also after the first 12 months the statutory manufacturers warranty ceases.  After then if anything goes wrong then you are on your own…

Unless you have a phone insurance like ours which includes Extended Warranty cover

Just another reason to get your phone insurance

Mobile Phone Insurance & Mobile Phone Damage

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Mobile phone insurance is ideal for mobile phones – which by their very nature are portable and easily damaged while on the move.

You might drop it out of your pocket – it might fall from your car door – it might spill out from the train as you get off – or any other possible way to damage it.

You might even drop it down the toilet!

ANy which way, you need to make sure you are covered for the very likely event of damaging your phone accidentally while going about your normal life.

This is just another reason you need to get protected now with mobile phone insurance

Mobile Phone Insurance and Protecting You

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Mobile phone insurance is important.  You wouldn’t be here reading this if that weren’t true

You need to make sure you insure your mobile phone to protect yourself incase you lose your phone ior it is stolen or it gets damaged.

One of our Director’s wives lost their phone recently. She was shopping and it was either lost or stolen – not sure which.

Now do you want to be in an awkward position of being without your phone like that?

or even dangerous position of being without your phone?

Maybe you absolutely have to make a call, for your own safety?

Let’s hope you’re never in that situation – but have you ever HAD to make a call to check where your kids are? Or where someone important is to make sure they are safe?

Thats why you absolutely must look after your phone.

And why you need mobile insurance to get yoru phone back as soon as posible – so make sure you have phone insurance

Interesting update on iPhone insurance changes

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

This is interesting.

Last week we told you about the necessary changes to the iPhone insurance policy – that loss cover has had to be removed because of very high fraudulent activity…

We anticipated a drop in sales…

But none happened!

At least not to any significant level. The slight drop could be potentially (and hopefully) attributed to losing the sales from those planning on committing insurance fraud to make a dodgy claim.  Hopefully we have cut them out.

It seems that the legitimate customers understood the need for the change to the iPhone insurance and continue to insure and protect themselves with this iPhone insurance
