Phone insurance is potentially a wise move to add an extended warranty cover to your phone, in addition to the other cover elements.
Your phone will have come with a statutory 12 month manufacturer's warranty when you bought it - that is the law in the UK.
But after that 12 month period you are on your own
You can buy extended warranty policies on there own - often at the same time you buy the phone. But if you get a full phone insurance policy you can be covered for far more.
